Ending VAWG
The African Centre for Entrepreneurship and Information Development (ACEIDEV) recently organized a sensitization program for women of Truth Baptist Church in Nyanya, Abuja, focusing on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) in society. The program, sponsored by Nigerian Women Trust Fund and Ford Foundation, aimed to empower women with knowledge and skills to combat gender-based violence.
Credibility Threshold
ACEIDEV a member of the Nigeria Situation Room on June 30th Situation Room launched the Credibility Threshold initiative for the 2027 general elections. The objectives are, to promote transparency, accountability, and credibility in the electoral process.

Meeting with INEC
The Situation Room, a platform for civil society organizations, recently held an advocacy meeting to discuss the criteria for appointments into the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the credibility threshold for the 2027 General Elections. The meeting aimed to promote transparency and accountability in the electoral process, ensuring that INEC appointments are based on merit and impartiality. This is crucial for maintaining public trust in the electoral system.
